Inflatable Boat Colors

In World War II, inflatable rafts were produced in large quantities, all yellow because it was thought that this color would be easier to spot if any ransom. Today, most ponds are orange because it has been found that this color is easy to see that yellow away.

For a long time, all kinds of inflatable boats – not just rafts – they were yellow. Then, The World at War with the launch of the first boats in Hypalon and neoprene were black, as this was the normal color of the materials they were made. However, black-colored boats greatly absorbed the heat, and when exposed to sunlight, warmed too quickly to maneuver. Eventually, manufacturers and Neoprene Hypalon boats found a way to add a white color to their boats, creating a uniform gray color, which was the color of most of the boats for some time.

When manufacturers began making PVC boats were also gray, like Hypalon boats. It is relatively easy to add colors to the PVC, so the boats began to leave this material in a variety of colors, including white, red and blue.

If you try to decide the color of your next inflatable boat, depends entirely on the intended use of. Bright colors are easy to see from a distance, so serve more to life rafts. If you intend to use it for hunting, then moss green or a color that lets you blend may be more appropriate. Or you may simply want to buy a boat in your favorite color, though not necessarily fit your purposes.
